A 7.2 mile road race through the beautiful

HILLS of MILAN

A loop around the famous Briggs Mountain

Why: Because the course is beautiful and it is the start of spring.

Milan is in the hilly region in Northern Dutchess County, New York and this course reflects that terrain. First half of the race is easy and flat, but the second half finishes with a long uphill and that will test your running strength. Course is beautiful, passing through rural lands with streams, farms and scenic views. The road names say it all: Woody Row Road, Milan HILL, Willow Glen, Academy HILL.

$12 registration fee ($11 for members of Onteora Runners Club)

$15 T-shirts additional. Excellent refreshments.

Awards for top two finishers in each of these classes:

1: under 25 2: 25-39 3: 40-49 4: 50 – 59 5: 60 +

Directions: Find Rt 199 in Northern Dutchess between Red Hook and Pine Plains. Find Academy Hill Rd (Dutchess Rt 51) which is 2 miles west of Taconic Parkway on Rt 199. Go north on Academy Hill 2.2 miles and turn left on Woody Row Road. You are there.
