Over Ten Years of  Racing in the  Hudson Valley

    As most of you know, we lost a beautiful young person in Milan a few weeks ago. Alex Gravino, 15, was killed in a car accident. Our hearts are wrenched as many runners knew Alex and a great deal more know her mother, Jodi, an avid and accomplished runner here in the valley.

 

 There is no loss greater than the death of a child. All of us who are parents understand this in the deepest way.

 

Jodi -- you are in our hearts. We would like to dedicate this running of our race to your daughter and her memory. We feel for you.     Van
